The Inuvik Métis Council supports Métis rights, cultural preservation, and community development within the Inuvialuit Settlement Region and Western Arctic.

Inuvik Métis Council represents the interests, rights, and cultural heritage of Métis citizens in Inuvik and the surrounding region. As a locally rooted Indigenous organization, the Council supports community well-being through programs, advocacy, and services that reflect the history, values, and priorities of the Métis people. It plays an important role in ensuring that Métis voices are included in regional decision-making and that cultural identity remains strong across generations.
